The Australasian Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ASTSS) and Phoenix Australia – Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health (Phoenix Australia) invite abstract submissions for the Australasian Conference on Traumatic Stress (ACOTS) 2024. The Conference will be held from 7 - 9 November 2024. 

To complete the submission successfully, you will need the following information. Abstract submissions are due, no later than Friday 19 July 2024 by 5pm AEST.

• Biography: Maximum 50 words, which can include institutional or research media links 

Presentation Title and Abstract 

• Select the appropriate presentation type template, and provide the requested information within the word limits  
• No subheadings are required for abstracts, but please ensure you address the information requested in the template 
• Text should be entered in sentence case. Please do not type presentation titles in all capital letters. 
• Accepted abstracts submitted for presentation will be published for the Conference exactly as submitted. All submissions should be checked for accuracy and misspelling prior to submission. No further author edits are permitted once your abstract has been submitted.
• Due to the small number of places available for Masterclasses, preference will be given to those focussed on building skills that have a strong evidence-base

• Symposiums: Length 45 minutes, presenters 3 - 5 speakers

• Masterclass: 90 minute interactive session

ACOTS will only communicate via email with the nominated contact for the abstract submission therefore it is imperative that the details given in the address for correspondence are accurate.  

It is a requirement that all presenters are registered for the Conference. Registration can be completed via the abstract submission portal and the deadline for Early Bird registration is Friday 13 September 2024.
