Dr Allan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Otago, New Zealand, in 1982. He gained his Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1991. He has Fellowships in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England and Ireland and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Australia.
He completed his surgical training in Australia, NZ, UK and USA. Dr Allan is currently working as a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in private practice. His previous international appointments include Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, Seattle. His previous national appointments include Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Princess Margaret Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Fremantle Hospital and Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at St John of God Hospital, Subiaco for the past 25 years.
His specific areas of surgical interest include immediate implant placement and immediate loading, advanced osseointegrated implant techniques including All-on-4 Full arch solutions and Zygomatic implants, digital planning and the use of patient specific implants (PSI). Dr Allan has been using digital workflows and 3D printed solutions in implant dentistry for 20 years. He also specializes in the correction of dentofacial deformity and maxillofacial reconstruction and for the past 10 years has been using digital planning and PSI for these cases.
Dr Allan has presented lectures and surgical training programmes nationally and internationally and has contributed widely to medical and dental literature publications, including scientific articles and text book chapters.
Edward P. Allen, DDS, PhD, Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Periodontics, Texas A&M College of Dentistry, is Founder and Director of the Center for Advanced Dental Education in Dallas, an educational facility where he teaches surgical technique courses. He has served as President of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. He is the recipient of the Master Clinician Award from the American Academy of Periodontology, the President’s Award for Excellence in Dental Education from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the Saul Schluger Award for Excellence in Diagnosis and Treatment Planning. In 2019, he was honored with the AAP Gold Medal Award, the highest award bestowed by the Academy. Dr. Allen serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, has over 100 publications, and has presented numerous lectures and over 200 surgical demonstrations worldwide.
With a qualification in Mathematics & Finance, George was being asked by companies to help them with their digital strategies after he successfully built and sold two multi-million dollar companies through social media between 2010 - 2016. George won the 'Outstanding Young Entrepreneur' award at the NSW Business Chamber Awards in 2018 and has won multiple awards through such organisations as the Australian Marketing Institute.
George has been called to be an expert witness in court cases involving social media defamation and trademark infringement. He is a sought-after keynote speaker and presenter for industry groups, having spoken to over 30,000 people around the world since 2016 and conducts digital strategy sessions for government agencies, large NFPs and multi-nationals. George also lectures on behalf of the Centre for Continuing Education on social media strategy at Sydney University.
Dr Andrew Ip is an Australian-based private general dentist who presents regularly on dental 3D printing and digital design. What started off as a hobby many years ago has now become a full-time passion which has taken him all around the world, from the US, Europe, Asia and of course Australia. He has operated no less than 30 different printers so far in his career and has been teaching dentists and technicians how to integrate additive technologies to their workplaces for several years. When he's not designing a surgical guide, printing a splint or polishing a printed crown, you can find him glued to a screen designing printable table organisers or digitally preparing a helmet for his cats.
Luke Moloney is a specialist Endodontist in Camberwell and Brighton. He is a Consultant Endodontist at the Royal Children's Hospital, Department of Dentistry and is involved in post graduate education at the Melbourne Dental School in Endodontics and Paediatric Dentistry. Luke has presented throughout Australia and overseas on Endodontics and Dental Traumatology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, The Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists.
