ART GALLERY OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Founded in 1881, the Art Gallery of South Australia is home to one of Australia’s great art collections. The collection comprises of over 45,000 works of art spanning from Australia, Europe, North America and Asia and includes one of the most important collections of Indigenous art as well as the only dedicated Islamic gallery space in Australia. As you wander from one gallery to the next, you’ll find works of art presented in ways that give new insights, culturally and thematically.
