Speaker | Dr Jennifer Coetzee

Qualified as a Clinical Microbiologist from University of Witwatersrand and spent time working as a Consultant at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. Currently working as a Consultant Microbiologist in the Clinical Microbiology and Molecular biology departments of Ampath’s National Reference Laboratory in Centurion, Gauteng. A member of South African Society of Clinical Microbiology (SASCM) as well as European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID).Research interests include documenting the emergence of carbapenemases in South Africa, and the epidemiology of invasive fungal infections.

Moderator | Dr David Grolman

David Grolman is currently the Head of Medical Affairs for the Hospital business of Pfizer in Australia and New Zealand. He is a qualified surgeon and intensivist who previously was in clinical practice for 20 years prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry. David is a Steering Committee member of the national Australian Antimicrobial Resistance Network, a public-private partnership committed to sourcing AMR solutions for Australia and to drive AMS initiatives locally.
